Nozama -

Thanks for the comment and the recommendation. I am running out to pick up a copy right now. Crudeness can be a sign of genius right? At least, that is what I try to tell my wife.

Jeremy,

This post made me think of the book Dropping Almonds by Bach Anon. Although Bach's humor is a little different than Carlin's, both are crude and widely appreciated by the masses (even though many won't admit it).

The book chronicles Bach's two plus years as an executive leader and the absurdity he experienced in corporate America. Now that the country (United States) is in the throes of depression, we should toss many bad strategic lessons business leaders have been touting for the past decade and make up new ones. I'm tired of hearing all the blah-blah that comes with corporate American leaders today.

The smart ones, Kelleher (Southwest Airlines) & Gates (Microsoft) for instance, have run for the hills.

Grab the book and take two hours to read it. Right, wrong, indifferent, or crude, the book is real and not full of the fluff floating around today.

Your vertically integrated fan (yeah right),

Thanks, David. We can't be afraid to take risks, can we? If there is one thing that Carlin has always done for me it is make me think.

Great post Jeremy! I really like the parallels between an entrepreneur and Carlin. It made me think.

Thanks,
