Thanks for the kind words. I just happened on this article and would like to invite those who haven’t tried shoe repair before, to give us a shot. The thing that I hear the most from first time customers is “I had no idea my shoes would ever look so good again”. Unfortunatly people who have tried shoe repair and had a bad experience, never use the industry again. They only buy new shoes when their old ones wear out. Give us a try. You will be amazed at all that we can do. Also, If I ever see a shoe that I don’t feel will repair well, I’ll tell you. I want you to come back again and again and to tell your friends. In these economic times, shoe repair is a great alternative. Buy quality and repair.

Hats off (or should that be shoes off) to anyone who combats our throw away mentality. And, not that you boys would know this, but a good cobbler can make a purse look like new as well as resole your shoes. Just a little tidbit I didn’t figure you would think to pass on.

Glad to have you back in the blogosphere, Jeremy! And great post. I heard that story too, though didn’t come up with any more interesting thoughts than “I wonder if I should bring my 10+ year old loafers with the soles peeling 1/2 way off and the holes in the toes to Jeff.”
